GLaDOS Messaging SMS Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern SMS messages provided through the GLaDOS Messaging service.

Program Description

GLaDOS Messaging is a private AI-assistant messaging service that may send notifications, reminders, alerts, requested messages, and other communications authorized or enabled by the user.

By providing a mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive SMS messages, the user consents to receive messages from GLaDOS Messaging at that number.

Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on user requests, configured reminders or alerts, and other messaging features enabled by the user.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by the user's wireless carrier and mobile service plan.

Opt-Out

Users may stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying:

STOP

After an opt-out request is received, GLaDOS Messaging may send one final confirmation that SMS messaging has been disabled. No additional SMS messages will be sent unless the user subsequently provides consent to resume them.

The mobile number and opt-out record may be retained and used only as necessary to honor the request, prevent further messages, maintain compliance records, and protect the service. The information will not be used for continued SMS messaging after opt-out.

Supported Carriers and Delivery

SMS delivery is subject to the availability and operation of participating wireless carriers and telecommunications networks.

Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Delivery of every message cannot be guaranteed.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for providing a valid mobile telephone number and for keeping their contact information current.

Users should only provide telephone numbers they are authorized to use and should not use the service to send unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or unauthorized communications.

Privacy

Information associated with SMS messaging is handled according to the GLaDOS Messaging Privacy Policy:

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information are not sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Any updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
